There were about 30 of us staying at the Meadowbrook at the Ponderosa Building for 7 days!!! The management was helpful/kind/courteous/thoughtful/considerate, etc. They did everything they could for us and the rest of our group – actually they got all of our tickets arranged for anything we wanted to do. We had kids of all ages and they were always busy – whether it was playing frisbee back near the gazebo, swimming in the pool (or playing in the indoor heated kiddee pool) eating smores by the fire ( which was every night we were there). The rooms were great – I had one with a mini refrigerator and a microwave and my folks had a large refrigerator/microwave/stove/dishes/silverware/table and chairs, etc. It was everything you needed. We would open our back screen door and sit on the deck – you could access all five rooms from your deck on the top and bottom floor. There were chairs and a picnic table to have breakfast at. We often watched the deer from those tables and it was beautiful. We drove about 22 hours from Florida to get there in 1999 and again this past week – we did it because the place was awesome. My parents are in their late 70’s and they drove it also because it is just a special place to stay. I don’t know what else I can say to convince you to stay there!!!
